Forever and a Day

My bf loves to write poems and I came across one that he wrote for me back in August 2010.  I find little notes and poems from him from time to time.  He knows just how to melt my heart every time.  He’s so sweet and I thought that I would share. 

From a picture to a box, I’ve seen you on my screen

You were the most beautiful woman that I’d ever seen

One little message grew to so much more

The more we talked the more my heart began to soar

Then we finally met face to face

I knew at that moment it was you I could never replace.

When I looked into your eyes, I felt our hearts become one

And our love began to burn brighter than the sun

We’ve grown so close together in such a short time

And I pray that your heart will always be mine

Now that we’re together in a place we’ve made home

I want you to know you will never be alone

For it’s in my heart that you will always stay

And I promise to love you always, Til Forever and a day.
